This is one of my new teapots. I'm proud of it . Not much to say really, I'm going to have a ceramics show at RISD sometime this year before Spring (if all goes well), in which I plan to assert my ceramics dominance. I've got a whole list of agenda that i wrote up, its really wonderful.
If any of ya'll has any questions about this teapot, just ask and be answered
Hiya! I hope the 88 doesn't mean it's your 88th teapot. if it is.... woah. just woah. It's cute! I like the rough texture of it, and the handle is pretty cute. -C
So pretty!! Very lovely, I love the handle and the texture!! ^_^
I have a question, did you get that texture by letting the clay get leather hard, then taking a curved tool and sort of scraping it? I've seen other people do it and it turned out sort of like this, but yours is more smoother.
Anyway, great job! ^_^

now, I'm assuming this is a closed form you threw, then attached the handle, spout, etc. my question is whether or not this is functional- is there a top that comes off so you can put in liquid?
one last thing- did you make that handle in a mold (or at least part of it) or did you pull it (oh god, I hate hate hate pulling handles DX).
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
